3D Designs
Most of the 3D Designs you see on this page were created during a three year course at Bournemouth University, UK. During these three years l developed skills in brainstorming and idea iterating, storyboarding, managing project timelines, project presentation, color theory, working within a team, and providing polished, final products.
The first year involved learning 3D And post processing software, storyboarding, basic modeling, camera angles and movement, shot composition, rigging, skinning and lighting work.
The second year involved practicing storyboarding through art classes, character and environment design, advanced 3DS Max edge modeling, setting up lighting rigs, texturing using UV maps, facial animations using morph targets, camera movement and shot composition which was much more pleasing to the eye, smoother animation, rendering using mental ray, editing, and sound
The paperwork for these two years detailing the work can be found below.
The final year involved polishing skills in character and environment design and backstory, styling and colors, animatic (virtual storyboard), advanced 3DS Max modeling, Creating edge flow for easier animation, Mudbox sculpting and exporting the UV maps to use in 3DS Max, rigging and skinning characters ready for use in motion builder, applying motion capture animation to the character and then refining the movement, rendering, editing, and sound.
The paperworks for the final year detailing the work can be found below.
